The Self-Sufficiency assessment pre-populates based on evidence for the client as default values. For example if there is an assessment question on education, the Student evidence defaults into the assessment for a related question. Because an eligibility worker must be aware of all changes to evidence, changes to information in the assessment do not automatically update back to evidence.
On completion of assessment, the system verifies the answered values to check if there is any difference from the default values. If differences exist, a notification is sent to the case owner with the list of fields where the default and answered questions have different values. This allows user to verify the answers of the client to check if everything answered is correct.
