It is important to note that while the tuning of these parameters is key to achieving the best performance when running batch processes, it is also possible to compromise their performance by incorrect tuning of these parameters. It is therefore advised that the impact of changes to each parameter be assessed individually to ensure that it has the expected affect on performance.
