Install the Server Component

Procedure

  1. Insert the CD IBM Cognos 10 Business Intelligence Server and install the server.
  2. We recommend that you use the Cognos content database
  3. Proceed through the steps and when choosing the Component Selection, maximize 'IBM Cognos Business Intelligence' and ensure all the following have a tick to the left of them:
    • Application Tier Components
    • Gateway
    • Content Manager
    • Cognos Content Database

    indicating they are selected.
