Using IBM WebSphere Application Server with USGCB

The United States Government Configuration Baseline (USGCB) is a federal government-wide initiative that provides guidance to agencies on what should be done to improve configuration settings, focusing mainly on security. When running the IBM Cúram Social Program Management application, if using IBM WebSphere Application Server v7, (see the IBM Cúram Social Program Management v6 Supported Prerequisites guide for supported versions of IBM WebSphere Application Server v7) with USGCB settings, it's possible that images may be missing. If this issue occurs, it indicates that IBM WebSphere Application Server does not recognize .png files. To fix this issue, IBM WebSphere Application Server must be updated to support the PNG MIME type. For details on this, the WebSphere Application Server Information Center documentation should be consulted.
