Prioritizing Factors After an Assessment

Agencies do not always have the capacity to address all of the issues identified by an assessment and must concentrate on the most urgent needs. The assessment framework supports factor prioritization. Factor prioritization allows outcome workers to prioritize factors identified by the assessment as needing urgent or further attention. Prioritization is for a person for a specific assessment. For example, if a client's assessment results indicate that housing is an identified need, these results can be prioritized so that the outcome worker attempts to address this issue before any other issues are addressed.
