Account Messages

Adding a new message or changing a dynamic element of an existing Cúram message requires customization, however, the text defined for existing messages provided out of the box can be updated by using the following properties which exist for each type of message:

All of these property files are stored in the Applications Resources section of the Administration Application. To update the message, each file needs to be downloaded, updated as appropriate and uploaded again. The icons displayed in the citizen account for each type of message can be configured in the Account Messages section of the administration application.

Adding a new message which originates from a remote system requires that a code table entry be added to the ParticipantMessageType codetable and an associated entry in the Account Messages listing in the administration application. Messages can then be sent via the ExternalCitizenMessageWS web service.
