Problems Fixed: 

  This is Patch 13, 2.0-ORA-0013, for the Tivoli Manager for Oracle 2.0 Product fixes the problems outlined below unless otherwise explained.

 

1.      APAR IY25938 - ORACLESQLENGINE DEFUNCT WHEN ORACLE IS DOWN/NOT PRESENT       

2.      APAR IY16153 – DEFUNCT PROCESSES CREATE WITH ORACLE ASYNC PROBES WHEN DATABASE IS SHUTDOWN

3.      Feature 135227 - Have toggle for update state function.

 

 

Verification Results

Problems Discovered not related to this patch and not Fixed in this patch: 

 

·         GPF on WinNt in OracleRoleBase.exe.  memory access error.

·         When the oracle database is shutdown the async monitors return a status of normal and info as if the database is available.

Regression Tests

   Ran the following automated test scripts against the three TMR environments

   before and after the patch was installed with no significant loss of function:

    Oranotice, Oratask, Oradb, Orainst, oradbasync, Oraspcli, Oraclifwp

Verification Results

Successful in replicating errors before patch was installed.  Verified Patch corrected all defects.
