Patch Notes for
Version 1.4.0 of the WebSphere BI Adapter for i2

ADAPTER REVISIONS

1.4.0	CR33546	Currency support for i2 CIS 6.1. The adapter for i2 now supports i2 Infrastructure Services (CIS) version 6.1. Support is now provided for durable subscriptions for event notification. The adapter can be configured for durable subscription using configuration property (UnregisterOperations) and/or polling meta-object attribute (Unregister). Support is now provided for event re-delivery. If the event failed to reach the integration broker, it can be re-delivered if the polling meta-object property AutoAcknowledge is set to false. The defaults for Unregister, UnregisterOperations and AutoAcknowledge is true. The adapter will now clean-up closed connections by removing them from the persistent store.

UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Apply the changes prescribed in each table below, beginning with the entries at the bottom of each table and working up to the most recent patch. 

Add, replace, or remove the following files and directories as indicated:

USAGE NOTES

Durable Subscription and Event Re-delivery

To configure the adapter for durable subscription, the value for UnregisterOperations or Unregister should be false. The value at the polling meta-object level overrides the connector property. A sample of the polling subscription configuration meta object can be found in the adapter's dependency directory.
To configure event re-delivery the value for AutoAcknowledge need to set to false in the polling subscription configuration meta object.
Note: If AutoAcknowledge is set to false, the connectorId attribute of the polling configuration meta-object should be unique (not reused by other connections).
