Fix Pack Notes for

This patch contains fixes for the following CRs based on customer reported and internally discovered issues.

Problem tracking numbers Number	As of Version	Problem
22430	4.2.01	Fixes repository exports from the server. The server now includes message files when exporting single Collaboration Templates or Maps.
21757	4.2.0.1	The problem is that 4.1.1 to 4.2 upgrade doesn't work using SQLServer. This Fix Pack fix this problem. (Note, upgrade from 3.1.2 to 4.2using SQLServer might still have problem. The fix should be in the next Fix Pack. For now, you can upgrade 3.1.2 into 4.1.0 first, and then upgrade 4.1.0 into 4.2)
22202	4.2.0.1	Beginning with the 4.2 release, the Oracle thin driver is no longer embedded in the product. The database connectivity drivers for Oracle and MS SQL Server are the IBM JDBC drivers. If you use the Oracle thin driver, this Fix Pack will automatically convert it into supported JDBC driver.

UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS

To perform an upgrade to this version of the WICS:

Upgrade to the most recent maintenance release if you have not already done so.
Apply the changes prescribed in each table below, beginning with the entries at the bottom of each table and working up to the most recent Fix Pack

After backing up the listed files, add, replace, or remove the following files and directories as indicated:

For WICS Version	Platform [Win32;Solaris;AIX]	Add / Replace / Remove	File (Starting from %CROSSWORLDS%/$CROSSWORLDS)
4.2.0.1	Win32:Solaris:AIX	Replace	lib/CrossWorlds.jar

Prerequisites

1. You must have version 4.2.0 of WICS installed in order to install this fixpack.

ADDITIONAL DISCUSSION

UNINSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

When install the Fix Pack, you need to back up all the old files that you replaced with the patch (e.g., back up CrossWorlds.jar file). When you want to install this patch and back to the previous patch, you just copy these backup files over to replace the new files.
