Common Base Event Browser

Use the Common Base Event Browser to retrieve and view events in the event database.

To view this page in the administrative console, click Integration Applications > Common Base Event Browser. Because this panel contains a large amount of information, you may want to open it in a separate web browser window. To do this, right-click the Common Base Event Browser menu item, and click Open in New Window.

The Common Base Event Browser has these components:
  1. The title bar contains links to the Get Events subpanel and to this help file.
  2. The Event Views frame contains links to four "Event Views" where you can select and view individual events of a given type:

The Number of events counter indicating the number of events that have been retrieved. This will always be set to zero whenever you open the Common Base Event Browser

Note: These two components are always visible in the Common Base Event Browser panel.
  3. The other frame will initially contain the Get Events subpanel. It is here that you will specify the events to be retrieved from the Common Event Infrastructure (CEI) event database. After you have submitted your query and the events have been retrieved, you can click one of the Event Views to replace the Get Events subpanel in this frame.

The Event Data Store Properties are required for events gathering. The Event Filter Properties are optional, but let you to refine your search.
