Common Event Infrastructure Destination

This service enables applications and clients to create and manage events. The Common Event Infrastructure serves as an integration point for consolidation and persistence of business events from multiple, heterogeneous sources and for distribution of those events to event consumers.

Enable service at server startup

Specifies whether the application server starts the Common Event Infrastructure service and server automatically.

When the application server starts, it tries to start the Common Event Infrastructure service and server automatically.

Unselected

The application server does not try to start the Common Event Infrastructure service and server. Resources configured for the Common Event Infrastructure Provider, such as a data store profile, emitter factory profile, and event server profile, are not bound into Java Naming and Directory Interface (JNDI) if the Common Event Infrastructure service is not started. If applications that run on this server need to use the service, the system administrator must select this property and start the application server.

Event Infrastructure emitter factory JNDI name selection list

Specifies the JNDI name of the emitter factory profile setting.
