Use the Service Monitor page to configure the service monitor server so that it can gather and aggregate response time and throughput measurements from all running service monitor agents. The server then calculates and stores the statistics so you can access them in the Service Monitor widget.

Enables or disables the service monitor server.
The service monitor server must be enabled before you can use the Service Monitor widget. In stand-alone server environments, the service monitor server is enabled by default during profile creation. In deployment environments and for new servers created using the administrative console, you must enable the service monitor server manually from the administrative console.(To enable or disable the Service Monitor in the administrative console, click Business Integration, expand the Service Monitor list, and then click Service Monitor.) ; under For Remote Message and Remote Support topology patterns, the service monitor server must be enabled in the Support cluster, and for Remote Messaging, Remote Support, and Web (four-cluster) patterns the server must be enabled in the web cluster.
When the service monitor server is disabled, data is not collected from agents and provided to clients. To disable the service monitor server, clear the Enable service monitor check box.
Specifies, in megabytes (MB), the in-memory data store size for service monitoring measurements. When the buffer reaches the specified size, the oldest entries are deleted and replaced with new data.
Limits the maximum number of matched measurements returned by a Representational State Transfer (REST) query. The value specified here overrides any value set on the query itself.
By default, the query limit is 50,000 measurements. If you want to return all matched measurements, clear the check box.
Indicates that you want to collect response time and throughput data from all running service monitor agents in the scope defined for the service monitor server (by default, the cell). Clear this option if you want to monitor only a subset of service monitor agents.
If you clear Enable all service monitor agents, a collection table appears below it. For a new configuration, the table is empty and you must use the Add button to access the Browse Deployment Targets page and add additional agents (by default, each deployment target has a configured service monitor agent) to the table.
All agents listed in the table are monitored. If you want to stop monitoring a particular agent, select it from the table and click Delete.
