Starting and stopping a WebSphere Commerce Payments application server

WebSphere Commerce Payments can be started and stopped as an application server.

The name of the application server is called instance_name_Commerce_Payments_Server, where instance_name is the name of the WebSphere Commerce Payments instance you want to start or stop. For example, if you have a WebSphere Commerce Payments instance called wpm, then the WebSphere Commerce Payments application server name is wpm_Commerce_Payments_Server.

WindowsThe application server can also be started or stopped from the Windows Services panel by starting or stopping the IBM WebSphere Application Server V5 -wpm_payments_instance_name service. For example, if you have a WebSphere Commerce Payments instance called wpm, then the Windows Service is IBM WebSphere Application Server V5 - wpm_Commerce_Payments_Server.

To start or stop a WebSphere Commerce Payments application server:

  1. Decide which WebSphere Commerce Payments application server you want to start or stop.
