Check out items (B2BDirect)

Objective

To allow the customer to check out the items in a shopping cart.

Description

To shop at a B2BDirect store, a customer needs to be pre-registered by the store. The customer can then log in to their account and shop at the store. Before submitting an order for processing, the customer needs to provide the store with billing address, shipping address, and payment information. The payment information can include a Purchse Order number. This payment information is stored for a registered customer. A registered customer can also create a quick checkout profile. The quick checkout profile contains the same information. If there are any predefined discounts, the discounts are automatically applied to the order. The customer can view the discounts on the Order Summary page.

Features

Customization

The quick checkout feature may be enabled or disabled by using the Change Flow notebook in the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator. If the order status page is enabled; then the shipment tracking feature may be optionally enabled. The ability to allow customers to ship a single order to multiple addresses may be enabled using the Change Flow notebook.
