Use this page to define customer account requirements for inclusion in this customer segment.
- Accounts
- Select one of the following options:
- Ignore account
- Select this option to include all customers independent of the account that they belong to.
- Customer must belong to one of the selected accounts
- Select this option to include only customers that belong to specified accounts.
- Customer must not belong to any of the selected accounts
- Select this option to exclude customers that belong to any of the accounts specified below.
When you select either of the bottom two buttons, the following options display:
- Total accounts currently showing
- Displays the number of accounts that you can select from, for this customer segment.
- Selected accounts
- Lists the accounts selected for inclusion in the segment.
- Select accounts
- Select the account name you want to use for this customer segment.
- Search for accounts
- Type all or part of the account name and from the list below this field, select how you want the system to perform your search.
- Find Account
- Click this button to search for the account.
- Account Size
- Select one of the following options:
- Ignore the account size
- Select this option to include all customers independent of the size of the account to which they belong.
- Target the following account sizes
- Select this option to include only the specified account sizes. Select the check box corresponding to each account size that you want to include in this segment. You can select any number of the following account sizes.
- Small
- Medium
- Large
- Account Credit risk
- Select one of the following options:
- Ignore account credit risk
- Select this option to include all customers independent of the risk associated with the account to which they belong.
- Percentage of payments that the customer account has paid on time must be zero
- Select this option to include only customers that belong to accounts that have never paid on time.
- Percentage of payments that the customer account has paid on time must be 100
- Select this option to include only customers that belong to accounts that always pay on time.
- Percentage of payments that the customer account has paid on time must be greater than the value specified below
- Select this option to include customers that belong to accounts that have paid on time more often than a particular target percentage. If you select this option, a Percentage of payments field displays in which you must enter the target value.
- Percentage of payments that the customer account has paid on time must be less than the value specified below
- Select this option to include customers that belong to accounts that have paid on time less often than a particular target percentage. If you select this option, a Percentage of payments field displays in which you must enter the target value.
- Percentage of payments that the customer account has paid on time must be within the range specified below
- Select this option to include customers that belong to accounts that have paid on time, a percentage that falls within a target range. If you select this option, Minimum percentage of payments and Maximum percentage of payments fields display in which you must enter the upper and lower thresholds for the range. Note that percentages that are equal to either the minimum or maximum will qualify for inclusion.
- Account Geographical location
- Select one of the following options:
- Ignore customer account location
- Select this option to include all customers independent of the geographical location of the account to which they belong.
- Customer account location is in one of the countries or regions specified below
- Select this option to include only customers that belong to accounts in specific geographical locations.
- Customer account location is not in in any of the countries or regions specified below
- Select this option to include only customers that belong to accounts that are not located in any of the specified geographical locations.
- Selected account locations
- Lists the account locations selected for inclusion in the segment.
- Available account locations
- Lists the account locations available for inclusion in the segment.
- Account Countries or Regions of Operation
- Select one of the following options:
- Ignore customer account countries or regions of operation
- Select this option to include all customers independent of the countries or regions of operation for the account to which they belong.
- Customer account countries or regions of operation include one of the countries or regions specified below
- Select this option to include only customers that belong to accounts that operate in specific geographical locations.
- Customer account countries or regions of operation include all of the countries or regions specified below
- Select this option to include only customers that belong to accounts that operate in all of the specified geographical locations.
- Customer account countries or regions of operation do not include any of the countries or regions specified below
- Select this option to exclude customers that belong to accounts that operate in any of the specific geographical locations.
- Selected countries and regions
- Lists the account countries or regions of operation selected for inclusion in the segment.
- Available countries and regions
- Lists the account countries or regions of operation available for inclusion in the segment.
- Account Industry
- Select one of the following options:
- Ignore industry
- Select this option to include all customers independent of the type of industry of the account to which they belong.
- Target the following industries
- Select this option to include only the specified industry types. Select the check box corresponding to each type of industry that you want to include in this segment. You can select any number of the following industry types:
- Government
- Health Care
- Education
- Aerospace
- Automotive
- Consumer products
- Entertainment
- Travel and hospitality

- Select this option to include only the specified account business types. Select the check box corresponding to each account business type that you want to include in this segment. You can select any number of the following account business types:
- Manufacturer
- Distributor
- Wholesaler
- Consulting
- Retailer
- Account Sales
- Select one of the following options:
- Ignore amount spent
- Select this option to include all customers independent of the amount spent at the store by the parent account.
- Amount spent must be zero
- Select this option to include customers that belong to accounts that have spent no money.
- Amount spent must be greater than the value specified below
- Select this option to include customers that belong to accounts that have spent an amount less than some target value. If you select this option, an Amount spent field displays in which you must enter the target value.
- Amount spent must be less than the value specified below
- Select this option to include customers that belong to accounts that have spent an amount greater than some target value. If you select this option, an Amount spent field displays in which you must enter the target value.
- Account sales volume must be within the range specified below
- Select this option to include only customers that belong to accounts that have spent an amount that falls within a target range. If you select this option, Minimum amount spent and Maximum amount spent fields display in which you must enter the upper and lower thresholds for the range. Note that amounts spent that are equal to either the minimum or maximum will qualify for inclusion.
