Changing the price of a product

To change the price of a product:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. Business to consumer From the Merchandise menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
    Business to business From the Products menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
    The Catalog Entry Search page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
  3. Find the product you want to change.
  4. Select a field in the product row that you want to change, and from the Prices menu, click Set Prices.
  5. The Product Pricing page displays. Using the drop-down list, select the currency from a list of the store's available currencies.
  6. In the List Price field, change the product list price, if applicable. The list price may supplied by the manufacturer and can be set to any value. The list price is used as part of the product description and is not used as the actual price of the product. This field is for catalog display purposes only.
  7. Select the check box to the left of the price you want to change and click Modify Price Range.
  8. Change the pricing specifications, as follows:
    • Using the drop-down list, select the currency from a list of the store's available currencies.
    • Change the product price range in the Range field. You can also change the price corresponding to the price range.
  9. To save the changed product price, click OK. Click Cancel Add to return to the Product Pricing page.
