Changing a customer's demographic information

To change a customer's demographic information, which was provided during registration, for a B2B direct store or a Consumer direct store:

Business to business For information about managing user information for all other stores, (that is, a hosting or value chain store), refer to the Creating a user and Changing a user.

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. Find the customer you want to work with.
  3. Open the Customer Information notebook by doing one of the following:
    • Select the check box next to the customer that you want to work with, and click Change.
    • From the Customer Logon ID column, click the customer logon ID.
  4. When you open the notebook, the General page displays. From the left navigation frame, click Demographics. The Demographics page displays.
  5. Update each field on the page as required.
  6. To make other changes to this customer's registration information, use the links on the left side to switch between each customer information page. To save the changed demographical information and close the notebook, click OK.
