Importing a hosted store uploads a reseller service agreement in XML format from your local client to the WebSphere Commerce Server and deploys the service agreement for the reseller. Deployment of the service agreement creates a hosted store for the reseller. Note that if you import a contract through XML, and want to have that contract appear in the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator, then you must have a contract description.
Important: Before importing a hosted store, ensure that WebSphere Commerce Payments is running. If WebSphere Commerce Payments is not running before importing a reseller service agreement, creation of the hosted store will fail.
To import a service agreement for a hosted store:
- Ensure that WebSphere Commerce Payments is running. If WebSphere Commerce Payments is not running, redeployment of the reseller service agreement will fail.
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- From either the Channel, Hosting, or Supplier menu, click Import Hosted Stores.
The Import Hosted Stores dialog displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator. - In the XML File field, enter the full path to the reseller service agreement XML file for the hosted store. If you do not know the full path to the reseller service agreement XML file, click Browse to open a dialog that allows you to find the XML file.
- Click Import to import the reseller service agreement XML file to your local client machine.
When the XML file uploads successfully, a hosted reseller store will be created that respects the terms and conditions defined in the reseller service agreement. In addition, a confirmation message will be displayed once the setup process is complete and the list of hosted resellers will be refreshed showing the newly created reseller.
If the status of the hosted store is Deployment Failed when the list of hosted stores is refreshed, you can attempt to redeploy the reseller service agreement.
