Order flow process - Value chain (demand) model, hosted store diagram long description (Business Edition)

This diagram shows the order flow process for a value chain (demand) model, hosted store.

  1. Place an order.
  2. Select supplier.
  3. Approve payment for the order.
  4. Release order to fulfillment. If order cannot be fulfilled, then the channel store flow is next. If order can be fulfilled, then skip to the hosted reseller store flow.
  5. Channel store flow

    1. Step one: Create a shopping cart.
    2. Step two: Check price and availability.
    3. Step three: Select distributors.
    4. Step four: Transfer items to distributor.
    5. Step five: Confirm order status.
    6. Step six: Process order.
    7. Step seven: Transfer order to distributor's store.
    8. Step eight: Approve payment for order.
    9. Step nine: If shipping goods to consumer, then: Step ten: Confirm shipment has been sent. If shipping goods to reseller, then:
      1. Step ten: Confirm shipment has been sent.
      2. Step eleven: Hosted reseller receives order.
      At this point, the flow continues in the hosted reseller store.

    Hosted reseller store flow

    1. Step one: Create a pick batch for all orders released to the specified fulfillment center.
    2. Step two: View and print pick ticket.
    3. Step three: View and print packaging slip.
    4. Step four: Pick and pack products specified in the pick ticket and packaging slip.
    5. Step five: Create package.
    6. Step six: Ship goods.
    7. Step seven: Confirm shipment has been sent.
