Configuration Manager - Payments - Schema

Use the Schema page of the Configuration Manager to configure WebSphere Commerce to work with your Payments database. Complete the fields as follows:

AIXLinuxSun Solaris Operating EnvironmentWindows Database name
The name of the database that is created for this instance, or the name of an existing database that is associated with the instance that you are creating.
AIXLinuxSun Solaris Operating EnvironmentWindows Database type
The product you will be using as your database management system.
AIXLinuxSun Solaris Operating Environment Database instance
The DB2 user ID of the user who issues DB2 commands.
AIXSun Solaris Operating Environment Oracle instance userid
Enter the Oracle user ID of the user who issues Oracle commands.
i5/OSiSeries Instance Schema Name
The Payments instance name is displayed in this field. You can accept this value or enter a different name for the schema that will be associated with the Payments instance that you are creating.
Database user name
Enter the user name for this database. If you are using Oracle as your database management system, enter the user name that you created when installing your database. You can also enter a user name that has not yet been created in Oracle.

If you have not created any users other than your database administrator, you can enter the administrator name here.
i5/OSiSeries The user name must be a valid user ID to sign onto the system. A database user name is required only when Remote is selected, or when the iSeries Toolbox driver is selected on the OS400 Options page.

Database user password
Enter the password associated with the user name for this database. (If you are using Oracle as your database management system, enter the password associated with the user name that you created when installing your database. You can also enter the password for a user name that has not yet been created in Oracle.)
i5/OSiSeries The password is required only when the user name is required.
i5/OSiSeries CCSID
Enter the coded character set identifier of the Payments database tables. The default value is the CCSID of the job running the instance creation wizard. Enter the value carefully because you will not be able to modify it later. For information about the CCSID parameter, refer to the Globalization topic in the IBM iSeries information center at http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/pubs/html/as400/infocenter.htm.
i5/OSiSeries WebSphere JDBC Driver Type
From the list, select the JDBC database driver type to use for the Payments application server. Two driver types are available: iSeries Native driver or iSeries Toolbox driver. The default driver type is iSeries Native driver.
Remote
Select this check box if your database server software is on a different machine than your WebSphere Commerce Server.
i5/OSiSeries Relational Database Name
If a remote database is selected, specify the relational database name in which the Payments database tables should be created. The name must be 18 characters or less. For performance reasons this database will be cataloged remotely as rdatabase_name at a node named after your WebSphere Commerce machine's host name. To verify that the name is correct, run the WRKRDBDIRE command from an OS/400 command line. Enter the name carefully because you will not be able to modify it later.
Generate properties file only
This check box does nothing. Do not select this check box.
