Changing discount assignments for a SKU

To change discount assignments for a SKU, such as adding a discount to the product or removing a discount assigned to the product:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. Business to consumer From the Merchandise menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
    Business to business From the Products menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
    The Catalog Entry Search page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
  3. Find the product containing the SKU you want to change.
  4. Select a field in the product row containing the SKU you want to change, and from the Actions menu, click Show SKUs.
  5. Select a field in the SKU row that you want to change. The background for the selected field is highlighted, and from the Actions menu, click Change SKU.
  6. From the left navigation frame, click Discounts. The Discounts page displays. Do the following:
    • To assign a discount to the SKU, select the discount name from the Available discounts list, and click Add.
    • To remove a discount assigned to the SKU, select the discount name from the Selected discounts list, and click Remove.
    • If there are no available discounts, you can create a discount from the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  7. To save the changed discount assignments and close the notebook, click OK.
