To create new activities for an existing campaign:
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
- From the Marketing menu, click Campaign Activities.
The Campaign Activities list displays containing the activities for the selected campaign. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator. - Click New. The Campaign Activity wizard opens.
- Define the general characteristics of the activity as follows:
- Type a campaign activity name, Sample coupon promotion.
- In the activity classification drop-down list, select coupon.
- In the description text box, type a description for your activity, such as Web activity for the sample campaign promotion.
- In the campaign drop-down list, select the campaign, in this case, Sample campaign. Click Next. The Defining displayed dynamic content (what) page displays.
- Define what dynamic content will display:
- Select show advertisement, and then Advertise Coupon.
- From the right box, select the correct available content for this Web activity, Coupon Promotion 03 content.
- Click Add, to add the content to the Selected content box. Click Next to go to the Defining target customers (who) page.
- Select Target all customers. If you select Target customer segments, you must have some customer segments already defined.
- Click Next. The Defining dates for targeting customers (when) page displays.
- Choose when the dynamic content will display:
- Select Everyday. Click Next. The Defining target customer behaviors (which) page displays.
- Complete each page as required selecting the values appropriate for the campaign activity you want to create.
- Click Finish to save the new campaign activity. The activity is displayed in the Campaign Activities list.
