Tracking product inventory

To track the product inventory for your fulfillment center:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. Business to consumer From the Merchandise menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
    Business to business From the Products menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
    The Catalog Entry Search page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
  3. Find the product you want to change.
  4. Select a field from the product row that you want to change, and from the Actions menu, click Change. The Change Product notebook opens.
  5. From the left navigation frame, click Fulfillment. The Product Fulfillment page displays.
  6. From the Track Inventory list, select one of the following options:
    • Select Track inventory to track inventory using WebSphere Commerce.
    • Select Do Not Track Inventory if you do not want to keep track of inventory.
    • Select Externally Track Inventory if you use an external system to track inventory.
  7. To save the changed fulfillment option and close the notebook, click OK.
