To change the SKU URL, such as a Web page where software can be downloaded:
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
From the Merchandise menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
From the Products menu, click Find Catalog Entries.
The Catalog Entry Search page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.- Find the product containing the SKU you want to change.
- Select a field in the product row containing the SKU you want to change, and from the Actions menu, click Show SKUs.
- Use one of the following methods to change the SKU URL:
- Change SKU notebook:
- Select a field in the product row containing the SKU you want to change, and from the Actions menu, click Show SKUs. The General page of the Change SKU notebook displays.
- From the left navigation frame, click Advanced. The Advanced page displays.
- In the URL field, type the URL where customers can download the SKU (in the case of software) or more information about the SKU. Ensure that the URL does not contain blank spaces.
- To save the changed URL and close the notebook, click OK.
- Product Management dynamic table:
- Click the Extended Description tab and select the field containing the URL. The row is highlighted and the selected table cell is outlined.
- In the URL field, type the URL where customers can download the SKU (in the case of software) or more information about the SKU. Ensure that the URL does not contain blank spaces.
- Click Save.
- Change SKU notebook:
Note: If the changes to the catalog data do not display, the Site Administrator may need to disable caching or remove the currently cached JSP pages.
