A customer segment is used mainly as a target segment for the following:
A customer segment represents a group of customers based on their common characteristics. It may be created based on the following customer characteristics (or attributes):
A customer segment may also be created by including and excluding the customers explicitly. In addition, a customer segment may also be created by including or excluding existing customer segments.
Note: If the Marketing Manager defines the conditions above and exclusively selects customers in the segment, the condition will be executed before the explicit list when the customer is being evaluated at run time.
