Navigating and searching information

Browse topics in the Contents frame (Contents icon) on the left. Click topics to display them. Use the Back and Forward buttons to navigate within the history of viewed objects.

To synchronize the navigation frame with the current topic, click the Synchronize button (Synchronize icon). The synchronize feature is helpful if you have followed several links to related topics in several files, and you want to see where the current topic fits into the navigation path.

To search the entire documentation set, enter a query in the Search field. To narrow down the sections that are searched, click Advanced Search. To return to the search results view, click the Search Results button (Search icon) at the bottom of the frame.
