Launching the XSL Editor

To launch the XSL Editor, use the appropriate script or command provided in the WebSphere Commerce directory:

  1. Create a new directory on the Windows machine (drive:\TextTrans\XMLTrans for example).
  2. Create the following new subdirectories under drive:\TextTrans\XMLTrans:
    \bin
      \lib\loader
      \wcmadmin
      \logs
      \web
      
    
  3. i5/OSiSeries Copy the files according to the following chart:
    i5/OSiSeries Windows
    /QIBM/ProdData/CommerceServer56/bin/XSLEditor.cmd drive:\XMLTrans\bin\XSLEditor.cmd
    /QIBM/ProdData/CommerceServer56/lib/loader/wcmxmlp.jar drive:\XMLTrans\lib\loader\wcmxmlp.jar
    /QIBM/ProdData/CommerceServer56/lib/loader/wcmxslt.jar drive:\XMLTrans\lib\loader\wcmxslt.jar
    /QIBM/ProdData/CommerceServer56/wcmadmin/*.* drive:\XMLTrans\wcmadmin\*.*
    /QIBM/ProdData/CommerceServer56/web/*.* drive:\XMLTrans\web\*.*
  4. Modify the XSLEditor.cmd file on the Windows machine by inserting the following text:
    set WCS_HOME=drive:\XMLTrans
    

    before the following:

      set lib=%WCS_HOME%\lib\loader
      set WCLOGDIR=%WCS_HOME%\logs
      set log=%WCLOGDIR%\xsleditor.log  
    
  5. To display the help pages for XSL Editor, ensure that a reference to Microsoft Internet Explorer is set in the system path.
  6. Launch the XSL Editor by running XSLEditor.cmd on the Windows machine.
