Suspending or resuming a hosted store (Business Edition)

Suspending a hosted store prevents customers from accessing the store and prevents the reseller from opening it. Only hosted stores with a status of Open or Closed can have their service agreements suspended.

A suspended store can be resumed, allowing the reseller to access it. Customers are prevented from accessing the store until the store is opened.

To suspend a hosted store:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. From the Channel, Hosting, or Supplier menu, click Hosted Stores.
    The Hosted Stores page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
  3. Select the check box to the left of the hosted store that you want to suspend. Only stores with a status of Open or Closed can be suspended.
  4. Click Suspend. The hosted store is given a Suspended status.

To resume a hosted reseller service agreement:

  1. Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
  2. From Channel, Hosting, or Supplier menu, click Hosted Stores.
    The Hosted Stores page displays. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.
  3. Select the check box to the left of the hosted store that you want to resume. Only stores with a status of Suspended can be resumed.
  4. Click Resume. The hosted store is given a Closed status.
