To find a customer order:
- Open the WebSphere Commerce Accelerator.
From the Operations menu, click Find Orders.
From the Sales menu, click Find Orders.
A search dialog opens. If you do not see this menu, then your logon ID does not have the appropriate authority to perform this task. Contact your Site Administrator.- Specify information for at least one of the following order information fields. At least one field must be specified.
- In the Order number field, type the order number that uniquely identifies the order. The system performs an exact search based on the order number that you specify (if you type 12345, for example, the system will search for the order with order number 12345).
- In the Customer logon ID field, type the customer's unique store logon ID. If this search dialog was launched by clicking Find Orders from the Order History list for a particular customer, the customer logon ID is pre-filled with the customer's logon ID for the store.
You can also select the type of search that you want the system to perform from the drop-down list beside each search field. For example, to search for the logon ID "johnsmith", note the following:
- If you type john and select Match case, beginning with, the system searches for matches starting with "john"; for example, the system may find "john", "johnbrown", and "johnsmith".
- It you type john and select Match case, containing, the system searches for matches with the string "john" in it; for example, the system may find "123john", "john123", and "johnsmith".
- If you type john and select Ignore case, beginning with, the system searches for matches starting with any variation of the string "john", using upper and lower case (such as "john" or "JOHN" or "John"); for example, the system may find "johnbrown", "JohnSMITH", and "johnsmith".
- If you type john and select Ignore case, containing, system searches for matches with any variation of the string "john", using upper and lower case (such as "john" or "JOHN" or "John"); for example, the system may find "123johnbrown", "JohnSMITH123", and "johnsmith".
- If you type johnsmith and select Exact match, the system searches for the occurrences of your exact search query; for example, the system may find "johnsmith".
- Alternatively, click Advanced search to use advanced-search options such as searching by order status,
account name, and important order dates. This form will display differently depending on whether you use Standard or Advanced orders. Use one or more of the advanced options as follows:
- Specify information for at least one of the following order information fields. At least one field must be specified.
- In the Order number field, type the order number that uniquely identifies the order. The system performs an exact search based on the order number that you specify (if you type 12345, for example, the system will search for the order with order number 12345).
- In the Customer logon ID field, type the customer's unique store logon ID. If this search dialog was launched by clicking Find Orders from the Order History list for a particular customer, the customer logon ID is pre-filled with the customer's logon ID for the store.
- From the Order status list, select the status of the order, such as a submitted order or a shipped order.
- Advanced orders From the Order item status list, select an order item state.
- Advanced orders From the Order type list, select the type of the order, such as a scheduled order.
- Advanced orders In the Contains SKU field, type all or part of the stock-keeping unit (SKU) of a product in the order for which you are searching.
- Advanced orders From the Blocked status list, select blocked or not blocked.
- Advanced orders If you selected "blocked" in the Blocked status field, then the Blocked reason list displays. Select one of the reasons listed.
- Advanced orders Select the Find orders that have not been fulfilled checkbox to search for orders that have not yet been fulfilled.
- Advanced orders From the Fulfillment center name list, select the fulfillment center for the order.
- Advanced orders Type The last 5 digits of the payment account number to search on the payment account number.
Specify an account name for the customer of this order by doing one of the following:
- From the Select account drop-down list, select the name of the store.
- Search for an account:
- In the Search for accounts field, type the all or part of the account name and from the drop-down list below this field, select how you want the system to perform your search.
- Click Find Account.
- In the Created section, specify the start and end dates between which the order was created. The start and end dates are set by entering valid data for the year (four digits), month, day, and time (24-hour clock). Optionally, you can use the calendar tool to enter the date.
- In the Modified section, specify the start and end dates between which the order was last updated. The start and end dates are set by entering valid data for the year (four digits), month, day, and time (24-hour clock). Optionally, you can use the calendar tool to enter the date.
- In the First name field, type all or part of the first name of the customer whose order for which you are searching.
- In the Last name field, type all or part of the last name of the customer whose order for which you are searching.
- In the Address field, type all or part of the billing or shipping address of the customer whose order for which you are searching.
- In the City field, type all or part of the city of the customer whose order for which you are searching.
- In the ZIP/Postal code field, type all or part of the ZIP or postal code for the billing or shipping address of the customer whose order for which you are searching.
- In the E-mail address field, type all or part of the primary e-mail address for the customer whose order for which you are searching.
- In the Phone number field, type all or part of the primary phone number for the customer whose order for which you are searching.
- Advanced orders In the Billing first name field, type all or part of the first name of the customer billed for the order for which you are searching.
- Advanced orders In the Billing last name field, type all or part of the last name of the customer billed for the order for which you are searching.
- Advanced orders In the Billing address field, type all or part of the billing street address of the order for which you are searching.
- Advanced orders In the Billing city field, type all or part of the city in the billing address of the order for which you are searching.
Advanced orders In the Billing ZIP/postal code field, type all or part of the ZIP or postal code of the billing address of the order for which you are searching.
Advanced orders In the Shipping first name field, type all or part of the first name of the customer to which the order for which you are searching was or is to be shipped.
Advanced orders In the Shipping last name field, type all or part of the last name of the customer to which the order for which you are searching was or is to be shipped.
Advanced orders In the Shipping address field, type all or part of the shipping street address of the order for which you are searching.
Advanced orders In the Shipping city field, type all or part of the city in the shipping address of the order for which you are searching.
Advanced orders In the Shipping ZIP/postal code field, type all or part of the ZIP or postal code of the shipping address of the order for which you are searching.
Advanced orders In the Organization name field, type all or part of the name of the organization to which the order for which you are searching belongs.
In the Maximum number of matches to display field, type the maximum number of search results that you want the system to display.
- Specify information for at least one of the following order information fields. At least one field must be specified.
- Click Find. The system performs a search and a list of orders that match the search criteria is displayed.
