WebSphere Transcoding Publisher APAR Fix README Visit our Home Page on the Internet: http://www.ibm.com/software/webservers/transcoding/support.html/ ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Date: 01/08/2001 Product/Version: WebSphere Transcoding Publisher v3.5 This APAR Fix Package addresses the following Error Symptom(s): SOME DBCS CHARACTERS WERE BROKEN VIA WES AUTH SERVER Pre-Requisites: WTP 3.5.1 _________________________________________________________________________ PROBLEM(s) FIXED: (This is a cumulative list of problems fixed by this package) APAR Description IC29792 SOME DBCS CHARACTERS WERE BROKEN VIA WES AUTH SERVER _________________________________________________________________________ INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS: 1) Make sure WTP 3.5.1 is installed before applying this apar 2) Be SURE to download the IC29792.exe file in BINARY format and place it into a temporary directory. 3) Within the temporary directory, unpack the EXE file by running IC29792.exe, you will have 2 files WTP351EncodingPatch.zip (for Windows platforms) and WTP351EncodingPatch.tar.Z (for Unix based platforms) IMPORTANT! Carefully compare the dates of the files supplied with this APAR fix to the files being replaced.
