The Rational Setup Wizard provides two deployment methods.
Enterprise Deployment option - Create a network release area and customize the product installation using the Configure tool. Users install pre-set configurations of Rational products from the release area.
Desktop Installation From CD Image option - Install the product directly from the Rational installation CD-ROM onto your desktop. This is not recommended for setting up a production installation of ClearCase.
