To define a path from a storage agent to an external library manager, first complete the following fields and then click Finish, or click Cancel to end this task.
When you define a path, you make the destination (a library) accessible to the source.
Enter the name of the storage agent that will be the source for this path. The source must already be defined to the server. A unique library path will have to be defined for each storage agent being defined to the server.

SERVER is the only valid source type for this parameter. The source is a Tivoli Storage Manager server or a storage agent that has been defined as a server to this server. Use this source type to define a path from a server or a storage agent to a library.
LIBRARY is the only valid destination for this parameter.
Enter the path name of the external library manager location where IBM Tivoli Storage Manager can send media access requests. The path name is the path the source server uses to access the external library manager.
Select whether the path is available for use. The default is Yes.
Yes | The path is online and available for use. However, if either the source or the destination is not available, the path is not available. |
No | The path is not available for use. |
