NET.OUT(1)

     NAME
net.out - ClearDDTS remote system file transfer

     SYNOPSIS
          net.out [-p] [-f]

     DESCRIPTION
The net.out program is used to send defects and
administration commands to remote systems. For each defect
record file or administration command file found in its
spool directory, net.out routes the file via electronic mail
to the appropriate remote ClearDDTS system.

The net.out program appends messages to a log file,
~ddts/spool/LOG, recording all files it has processed. The
log file may be examined if defect distribution or
administration problems occur. The size of LOG is
controlled by the ClearDDTS cleanup utility, ddtsclean(1).

The -f option is used for debugging. It makes net.out run in
the foreground instead of running in the background.

The -p option is used for debugging. It causes all log
messages to be echoed to the standard output as well as
being written to the log file. Note this option is only
valid in conjunction with the -f option. Otherwise it is
          ignored.

The net.out program is invoked by the ddtsd daemon whenever
there is any ClearDDTS defect routing or administration
          routing work to be performed.

The net.out program must run real-user-id ddts. It should
not be run directly by users.
