Triage can be performed for an anonymous person, prospect person, or registered person. Triage captures information with a question script created using IEG. IEG administration functionality enables the agency to configure the information captured on the triage script.
Based on the answers the client provides to the triage questions, the system displays a list of recommended community services, service providers, and government programs most appropriate to the client's needs. Urgent alerts may also be displayed to highlight important information. These results are determined using CER which runs when the intake worker submits the triage script. Common Intake provides a sample triage CER rule set, but the agency may configure these rules to meet their needs.
