Hearing Lifecycle for a Hearing Review Appeal Type

After the hearing review is approved, the hearing lifecycle commences. The hearing lifecycle for a hearing review consists of all the stages leading up to the hearing from scheduling the hearing through to completion of the hearing.

A hearing for a hearing review is presided over by hearing reviewers who are users within the organization and had no part in either the original decision or prior appeal. Hearing reviewers are responsible for making a decision on the appeal after the hearing.

A hearing must be scheduled and completed before a decision can be entered for the hearing review. Additionally, hearings managed as part of a hearing review can be rescheduled, continued, or adjourned.
