Hearing Review Appeal Type Lifecycle

The hearing review lifecycle begins with the creation of the hearing review appeal. Once the hearing review is created, it must be approved before a hearing can be scheduled.

The hearing that is held for the hearing review has it's own lifecycle which includes scheduling the hearing, inviting attendees to the hearing, and completing the hearing.

The hearing review lifecycle and hearing lifecycle merge when a decision is entered for the hearing. Like the hearing appeal type, each decision has it's own lifecycle that is managed as part of the hearing review. When the hearing is completed, the decision reached at the hearing is entered on the hearing review and a decision document is attached to the hearing review. The decision is then approved or rejected. Approved decisions must then be implemented.

Hearing reviews can be canceled at any stage of hearing case processing.
