The owner of an action represents the case worker who is responsible for ensuring that the action is completed. The owner assigned to an action can be the case worker creating the action or any other user on the system. A configuration settings exists which dictates how the owner is assigned to an action. The action can be automatically defaulted to the case worker creating the action in which case the case worker does not have to select an owner. If the action is configured such that the owner can be any user, the case worker creating the action can specify themselves as the owner or they can search for and select another user as the owner.
