Scheduling An Action For A Client

This section outlines the process of creating an action for a client.

The process begins with the selection of an action. A case worker can select from a list of actions defined in Outcome Management administration or the action can be recommended by the system and subsequently selected by a case worker. The action selected will then dictate whether the information outlined in this section can be specified. When first created the action has a status of Not Started if the start date is in the future. The action has a status of In Progress if the start date is today or in the past.

Note: An outcome plan can be configured to allow a case worker to record actions that are not defined in Outcome Management administration. These types of actions do not have any associated configuration settings and as such all information outlined in section Adding Activities To The Outcome Plan and the following section can be recorded.
